Dahlia has long been a symbol of elegance, class and premium appeal. That is why we have given our Dahlia range a complete new look. Our Dahlia assortment is structured from small to large, from compact to impressive. The five series are distinguished under the Dalina® brand: Mini, Dahlietta, Midimax, Maxi and Maxi Noir.
This updated structure helps our customers make the right choice more easily, enabling them to select the most suitable Dahlia Dalina® series based on pot size, application and desired appearance.

Dalina® Mini & Dahlietta
Dalina® Mini: We’ve carefully developed the best selection of mini Dahlia’s. This range is perfectly suited for packs and small pots up to 10,5 cm, offering a very short production time. Ideal for quick turnaround and retail promotions, helping you maximise efficiency and boost sales.
Dalina® Dahlietta: One of the first cutting-raised Dahlias with a quick crop time. The selected colours are a well-matched series. Need less PGR. Ideal for programmable pot production. The Surprise series represents the more special colours in the Dahlietta range. Plant habit between the colours differs a little, but the colours are spectacular. Pot size: 10,5 - 13 cm
Dalina® MidiMax, Maxi & Maxi Noir
Dalina® MidiMax: Medium vigorous green leaved dahlia suitable for 15-17 cm pots. Can be produced in and outside. We have selected the best colours with a good branching plant habit and a early flowering time.
Dalina® Maxi: A best-of selection of vigorous plants with large flowers, ideal for larger pots. Easy and quick to produce, both indoors and outdoors. Early crops can be grown without pinching.
Dalina® Maxi Noir: A dark foliage series. Mildew-tolerant, unique colours, and medium-sized double flowers. Perfect for combining with Dalina® Maxi. Suitable for larger pots. Can be produced both indoors and outdoors.
Technical Information: Dalina® MidiMax, Maxi, and Maxi Noir
The Dalina® MidiMax, Maxi, and Maxi Noir series are all suitable for larger pots and are widely adaptable. For the best results, we recommend pinching the plants in the pot after the first two pairs of leaves have developed. This encourages bushier growth and more flowers, especially in pots of 17 cm and larger.
The positioning tool below is based on pinched cultivation. However, the varieties can also be grown without pinching for faster production. Growing unpinched can shorten the cultivation time by 7–10 days.

The Story Behind Dalina®
The inspiration behind this concept is ballet. Dalina is the name of a ballerina: a little girl with a big dream of becoming the most beautiful and elegant dancer on stage. She begins as Mini, delicate and refined, and gradually grows into Maxi - stronger, bigger and more impressive. Maxi Noir is the mysterious final act: the same powerful series as Maxi, but with dark foliage - just like a true Black Swan.
